HUMEROUS OFFICIAL WALKTHROUGH

Hello friends! Kind of new to making one of these, but here's a walkthrough for Humerous! If you encounter any bugs or strange things happening, please do notify me in the comments below! Though everything SHOULD be fixed by now.

[FAIR WARNING THERE IS GOING TO BE SPOILERS AHEAD! ]

THE ROADS
  • When starting the game, you play as Grepa walking into a horizontal stone-floor road FILLED with trees.
  • You can only move forward as you go, as Grepa does not want to walk back to the previous road, so be thorough searching around the area before proceeding.
  • At some point, you will reach a road with a bench. You will be given the option whether or not to sit down! (You may also be a little silly and attempt to keep walking for a treat! Though be sure to SAVE before you attempt doing so.)
  • Sitting down will open a cutscene, transitioning to a realm called FLIPSIDE!
THE FLIPSIDE
  • Upon waking up, you wake up to a strange island surrounded with the dark night. You are then met with a voice behind you, and introduces themselves to you as Hum!
  • After the cutscene with Hum, you are now met in a skull-shaped island surrounded with the endless space of stars! You are free to walk around a bit before following Hum! (or perhaps be a little mischievous and interact outside the ground floors! Just be sure to SAVE before this.)
  • As you follow Hum to the next segment of the island, you are met with another cutscene conversing with Hum a bit more about the strange new realm you've been dragged into. They then proceed to move to a specific location of the map between two huge purple trees, which isn't hard to miss!
  • Check in with Hum! When asking for directions, they will ask you to go to the orange gravestone to THEIR LEFT, in which is your right!
  • Once you've entered past the orange grave, talk to the skeleton "Er" and converse with her! 
  • During your conversation with Er, you are given options that will determine the outcome of the ending. After the talk, head back into the main island and talk to Hum once more.
  • As you converse with Hum, they will tell you that your next task is to check out the purple gravestone to THEIR RIGHT, in which is your left.
  • Once you've entered past the purple grave, talk to the skeleton "Ous" and converse with him!
  • During your conversation with Ous, you are given options that will determine the outcome of the ending. After the talk, head back into the main island and talk to Hum once more.
  • You get to converse with Hum once more! After a few words exchanged, an ending sequence will happen depending the choices you've chosen for the previous two skeletons!

ENDINGS GUIDE! SPOILERS AHEAD!

  • ENDING 1 [TIRED BEYOND LIMIT]: This ending takes place around the ROADS section! Rather than sitting down, attempt on proceeding to the next road five times.
  • ENDING 2 [ENDLESS SPACE]: This ending takes place around the FLIPSIDE section! Interact with any open space that isn't the ground floor and select the jump option.
  • ENDING 3 [INEVITABLE DEATH]: This ending takes place around the FLIPSIDE section! Make sure to pick "Leave them be" for both Er and Ous!
  • ENDING 4 [SHARING IS CARING; BOTH VARIANTS]: This ending takes place around the FLIPSIDE section! Attempt to pull a joke to only ONE of the skeletons, and talk to Hum! 
  • ENDING 5 [ATTEMPTED COMEDY]: This ending takes place around the FLIPSIDE section! Choose the option to TELL A JOKE to BOTH skeletons, and talk to Hum!
  • ENDING 6 [SAID AND DONE]: This ending takes place around the FLIPSIDE section! Choose the option to PRY FURTHER on both skeletons, and talk to Hum!

TRUE ENDING GUIDE! SPOILERS ONCE AGAIN!

  • Make sure you look around the FIRST ROAD you spawn in! Seek for a sparkling item hidden under one of the trees, and there you will find a strange, scribbled drawing.
  • Inspect the drawing through your "Stuff" tabs in the menu, the paper will guide you that there's something hidden around certain spots under the trees in SPECIFIC roads! You MUST be wary if the road you are in to recognize this paper, otherwise...

The paper conveys that: 

  • There is something hidden under the bottom right corner of the big orange tree you first encounter in ROAD 2. Interact with it will result having a new company with you!
  • Another is hidden under the top right corner of the big orange tree further down in ROAD 4. Interact with it will result another company added with you!
  • A final one is hidden under the bottom left corner of the third purple tree further down in ROAD 5. Interact with it will result another company added with you!

TRUE ENDING GUIDE: CONTINUED

  • You may interact with all of these slimes while having them in your "STUFF"!
  • Take all three slimes and encounter with Hum over the flipside! Do note that the slimes WILL BE ASLEEP as you're in the FLIPSIDE!
  • As Hum tells you to enter to the orange gravestone to talk to Er, CHECK IN with the ORANGE BLOB before conversing with her! Doing so will result you with a NEW option with Er, resulting a segment of what really happened to her.
  • Once you're finished with Er, the orange blob SHOULD BE ASLEEP and will not be able to be conversed with for the rest of the game.
  • Hum will then tell you to check in with the purple gravestone, and just like Er's, check in with the blobs! But this time, the PURPLE blob before talking to Ous! Doing so will result in a NEW option with Ous, revealing another segment of the following event.
  • After your conversation with Ous, check in with Hum again!  As you talk with Hum, you then get the chance to enter their gravestone located just behind you!
  • As you enter the gravestone, check in with Hum again and converse for a bit.  The conversation isn't finished there, however, as you'll need to talk to Hum again, making the protagonist suggest in talking to the GREEN blob.
  • Once you're finished with the green blob, talk to Hum again, resulting with the final sequence unraveling their fate. 
  • As you're done, Hum will take a moment before recognizing the situation at hand with the protagonist. Once this is finished, Hum will then tell you to meet back at the "area you were first brought in", the SKULL AREA that Hum was referring to.
  • Entering the SKULL island, all of the three skeletons are gathered within the center awaiting for your engagement. You may check in with Er and Ous, but you mostly have to talk to Hum overall! Doing so will then unlock the true ending!
